Heckuva Job, Brownie

From the "Credit, where credit is due" department, Michael Brown gets off some good shots in his Playboy interview. The best one...
On his much-mocked prior job with the International Arabian Horse Association: “Dealing with horses’ asses taught me how to deal with the federal government.”

Yeah, that's a pretty good line all right. I just find it hard to appreciate even a good line from a guy who let so many innocent people down so terribly.

No, it wasn't all Brown's fault. Yes, he's got his side of the story.

Even so, I can't get over the fact he was down in Louisiana worrying about his lunch and his shirt while people were going though hell in attics and on rooftops, and in the dome.

So, he can take his shot at horses' asses in government. But let's not forget he set a personal benchmark in that category at the worst possible time and place.
