In Case You Forgot…

Al Franken won an election and should be a U.S. Senator, but is still yet to be sworn in...

I know Norm Coleman thinks if he pushes long enough some Circuit Court on Mars might rule in his favor and force a new race, but after being a fucking sore loser for nine months and keeping his state from having representation does he really think he'd actually do better the next time 'round?

Asshole.

This has been like a fucking toothache for me. I can't believe no one has stepped in and put an end to this. It is so obviously a stalling tactic. How can this be allowed to continue?

And the MN Supreme Court needs to hurry the fuck up. This is their state that's making do with one vote in the Senate. Think they could get the lead out?

Yeah, you would think this would move to the top of the docket. The US Supreme Court was able to move fast when it was Bush v. Gore.

I really thought this would end quickly, because I assumed Coleman had designs of some kind on a future in politics. Apparently not. I swear if he ever runs for office again, I will race for a bullhorn and spend the entire campaign reminding every living soul in our state what a fucking whiner he has been.

Deb, I'm pretty sure YOU (MN res) haven't forgotten...I can't even imagine how maddening it must be to have it be YOUR Senator.

If I lived in the same state as Norm Coleman there'd probably be a restraining order on me.
